At Ananas, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our e-commerce platform, including the Ananas Feed (our shoppable video feed).

• Usage Data: Information about your interactions with the app, including pages viewed, time spent on the app, and other usage statistics.
• Device Information: Information about the device you use to access Ananas, such as your device's IP address, browser type, and operating system. This includes an anonymous device identifier we generate so the app works before you sign in.
• Content You Post: Videos, their sound, captions, hashtags, the products you tag, your profile photo, handle and bio, and the comments you write.
• Feed Activity: Which videos were shown to you and in what order, how long you watched each one, likes, saves, shares, follows, comments, taps on a product card, and reports you send us.
• Creator and Payout Data: If you earn commission, the orders attributed to your videos and links, your earnings, and the bank or wallet account you registered to be paid into.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain our service: We use your information to operate and manage your account, process transactions, and provide customer support.
• To choose what you see: We use your feed activity, purchases and device identifier to rank the For You feed and to recommend products, so the app shows you things you are more likely to care about.
• To pay creators: When an order comes from a video or a shared link, we record which one, so the creator behind it is paid the right commission.
• To keep the feed safe: Videos, their audio and their text are checked automatically, and by our reviewers when needed, against our content rules. We keep a record of moderation decisions, reports and appeals.
• To improve our platform: We analyze usage data to improve our app's functionality, user experience, and content.
• To communicate with you: We may use your contact information and push notifications to tell you about your orders, your videos and your earnings, and to send you updates and offers.
• To ensure security: We use your information to protect against fraud, unauthorized access, and other security risks, including fake orders and manipulated engagement.

2a. What Is Public

Some things are visible to anyone using Ananas: the videos you publish and their sound, your captions and comments, your profile photo, name, handle and bio, your follower and following counts, and the totals on your videos. If you appear in the creator leaderboard, your name, handle, photo and rank are shown there. What you watch, what you buy and what you earn are never public.

3. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with third parties in the following circumstances:

• With service providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing and order fulfillment.
• With legal authorities: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to legal requests, such as subpoenas or court orders.
• In case of business transfers: If Ananas is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Cookies, Tracking and Permissions

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on Ananas. Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help us understand how you interact with our app and improve your experience.

The app asks your permission before certain things, and you can change every one of them later in your device settings:

• Notifications: to tell you about your orders, your videos and your earnings.
• Tracking (iOS): if you allow it, we may measure advertising across other apps and websites to improve what we show you. Declining does not limit your use of Ananas.
• Camera, microphone and photos: only when you record or upload a video.
• Location: only to suggest a delivery address.

5. Your Data Protection Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification: You have the right to request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data under certain circumstances.
• Objection: You have the right to object to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.

5a. Keeping and Deleting Your Data

You can delete a video from the app at any time, which removes it from the feed and from your profile. We keep order records for as long as accounting and tax rules require, and moderation records (including a copy of a removed video and the reason it was removed) for a limited period so decisions can be reviewed or appealed. 6. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

Ananas does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, and you must be 18 or older to publish videos or earn commission. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page. Your continued use of Ananas after any changes will constitute your acceptance of the revised policy.
